Homemade Almond Milk

1 cup raw almonds, soaked overnight

4 cups filtered water

Stevia or Agave nectar to taste

2 tsp vanilla extract, or beans of a whole vanilla bean

Dash of cardamon, cinnamon, or nutmeg


Drain and rinse soaked almonds.  Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.  If you want the milk to be completely smooth, strain the almond fiber out of the milk with a cheese cloth.  Leaving bits of almond in will add fiber.  You can also save these blended pieces and use in your smoothies.
